Casper, WY | Devils Tower

We started off the day with a few necessary errands, then drove to Devils Tower National Monument. Little did we know that mid-day on a Sunday the park would be packed! We barely made it in before the cars were backed up miles before the parking lot, so we decided to turn around and find a little pull-off in the park to have a picnic. We’ve been here before, so we didn’t feel like we were missing out on too much, but it was nice to take a pause and have some lunch with a beautiful view, even if it was by a busy road.

After lunch, we drove three more hours to the city of Casper, WY for a shower at Planet Fitness and a stop at Best Buy. Outside of town we found an overnight spot on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land.
